Introduction of Professor Robert F. Park: Professor from the University of Sydney, Australia; Acting Director of the Australian Cereal Rust Control Centre; Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering. He is a renowned Australian plant pathologist and wheat geneticist and breeder, who has achieved outstanding accomplishments in the field of cereal rust research and made significant contributions to cereal production in Australia and globally. He has published over 200 papers and 12 book chapters, and serves on the editorial boards of several international SCI-indexed journals. In 2009, he received the Chinese Government Friendship Award and the Fulbright Senior Award from the United States. In 2013, he was honored with the Borlaug Global Rust Initiative Gene Stewardship Award and the NSW Science and Engineering Award for Excellence in Biological Sciences, Australia. In 2014, he received the Clarke Medal from the Royal Society of New South Wales, Australia.
