To further deepen botanical exchange and cooperation between China and the United States, and to establish an international platform that fosters interdisciplinary integration in plant science, the Botanical Society of China and the Botanical Society of America will jointly organize the “2026 Sino-American Conference on New Horizons in Plant Science”.

The conference will be held from 19–23 September 2026 in Tai'an, Shandong, under the theme “Future Botany in a Changing World”. We invite internationally renowned scholars and outstanding young scientists to deliver talks and share the latest breakthroughs. Plant scientists from institutions worldwide, especially graduate students and other young scientists, are warmly welcome to come and participate in conference activities.
