Focused on postharvest pathology in fruit and vegetables, including: 1) Molecular basis and regulatory mechanism of pathogenicity and mycotoxin biosynthesis of postharvest fungal pathogens, 2) Control technologies of postharvest diseases and mycotoxin contamination.
Introduction
Dr. Boqiang Li is currently a Full Professor at the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research primarily focuses on postharvest pathology in fruit and vegetables. He has secured and led over 10 national-level research projects, including grants from the National Key R&D Program of China and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). His scholarly work includes authorship of more than 130 peer-reviewed academic papers, of which 100+ are indexed in SCI, and 15 authorized national invention patents. Dr. Li has received 8 prestigious provincial/ministerial-level awards. He is a fellow of the Chinese Society of Plant Pathology (CSPP). He also serves on the editorial boards of several academic journals, including the Postharvest Biology and Technology, Biological Control, Frontiers in Microbiology.
