Journal of Systematics and Evolution (JSE, since 2008; formerly Acta Phytotaxonomica Sinica) is a plant-based international journal newly dedicated to the description and understanding of biological diversity. It covers descriptions of new taxa, monographic revisions, phylogenetics, molecular evolution and genome evolution, evolutionary developmental biology, evolutionary ecology, population biology, conservation biology, biogeography, paleobiology, evolutionary theories, and related subjects. The journal will become all English in 2009. In 2007, one paper from JSE was awarded the prize of the Fourth National Excellent Academic Papers by the CAST.
