Four foreign researchers with Institute of Botany, CAS as host institution get the “CAS President’s International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI)” for 2018. All of them are in the category of Visiting Scientists.

Additionally, two Taiwan researchers （LIN ZD and LIANG YS） get supported by the “Taiwan Young Visiting Scholar Plan” for 2018.

The CAS President’s International Fellowship Initiative, PIFI, is a specific funding program to attract talented foreigners to CAS for scientific exchanges and research cooperation. It is open to scientific research personnel from around the globe, of the following three types: 1. Distinguished fellows 2. Visiting fellows 3. Postdoctoral fellows .
