Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IBCAS) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Moscow Main Botanic garden,Russia on 24thOct, 2014 in Beijing. Prof. Lixin Zhang, Deputy Director of the Institute exchanged the MOU.with Prof. Alexander S. Demidov, Director of the Main Botanic Garden, Russian Academy of Sciences.

IBCAS especially Prof. Lei Shi, has long term cooperation with Moscow Main Botanic Garden. With the signing of the MOU, both the two sides hope to strengthen the relationship in the future.

Svetlana Potapova, Secretary of the Russian Botanicc Garden Council, Mrs. Wu Yan, Director of Division of European Affairs, Bureau of International Co-operation, CAS and several researchers from IBCAS witnessed the signing ceremony.
