New Lily Varieties were registered at Royal Horticultural Society

Three new varieties of lily were registered to log in at the Royal Horticultural Society, and obtained a certificate from the authority recently.

The three new varieties of lily, named 'Small White Cat', 'Red Lanterns' and' The Shy Girl 'respectively, were bred by Dr. SHI Lei and his colleagues from Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

All of the three varieties have strong stress resistance. The 'Small White Cat' is a bit large with pure flavor and. It’s about 22cm in diameter and 1.25 meters in height. The blooming is in mid June; the 'Red Lanterns' is about 23cm in diameter, 1.30 meters in height with slight fragrance. The blooming is in later June; ‘The Shy Girl ' is about 21cm in diameter, 1.2 meters in height with light aromatic flavor. The blooming is in early June.
