A seven-people Korean delegation visited Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IB-CAS hereinafter) On May.30, 2014. Dr. JING Haichun, Head of Research Governance Office hosted the visit.
Dr. ZHANG Lixin, Deputy Director of IB-CAS expressed warm welcome to the guests and delivered a brief introduction on the history, people and researches of IB-CAS. Following that, Dr. ZHANG Qibing, Deputy Dean of State Key Lab of Vegetation and Environmental Change (LVEC) introduced the lab’s research interest. Mr. Nam Kwang Hee, the Head of Nature Conservation Bureau, Ministry of Environment gave a short speech on the purpose of the delegation’s visit. They hope to learn IB-CAS’s good experience on research and management. Further collaboration on journals, specimen and biodiversity were discussed.
