Biodiversity researchers from IBCAS attended the symposium “Linking Chinese and German Biodiversity Ecosystem Functioning Research in Forests” which took place in Halle and Tübingen, Germany between May 4-10, 2014 .The main aim of the symposium is to exchange experience in Biodiversity-Ecosystem Functioning (BEF)-experiments conducted in China and Germany. Totally there were 43 participants present at the symposium.
The symposium was organized by Prof. Ma Keping (Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences) and Prof. Helge Bruelheide (Martin Luther University Halle Wittenberg).
