A five-people Mongolia delegation visited Institute of Botany from Feb.10 to Feb.12, upon the invitation of Ministry of Science and Technology of P.R.C.
Dr. LENG Jing, deputy director of Division of Scientific Research of IBCAS hosted the visit and gave a brief introduction on the history, people and researches of IBCAS. Dr. D. Nasanjargal from Plant Protechtion Research Institute introduced the general information of Mongolian Academy of Scicens. Researchers from IBCAS gave several academic talks on ongoing research programs. The delegation was very interested in Prof. LIU Gongshe’s research on sheepgrass and Prof. LI Yonggen’s on chicken grazing in Inner Mongolia. They had a heated discussion, and promised to seek further cooperation in these fields. Afterwards they were shown around the State Key Lab. of Vegetation and Environmental Change and the Herbarium.
Prof. HUANG Yao, Prof. BAI Yongfei, Prof. HUANG Zhenying and Prof. HUANG Jianhui were present at the reception.
