Ms. Mandy Hill, the Publishing Director from Global Academic Publishing at Oxford University Press (OUP) visited Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IB-CAS) on November 8, 2013. Prof. Jinzhong Cui, director of the Center for Documentation and Information of IB-CAS hosted the visit.

Prof. Cui gave a warm welcome to Ms. Mandy Hill and her colleagues, and had a brief introduction of IB-CAS and the Center for Documentation and Information. Ms. Mandy Hill introduced the OUP Journals, cooperation in China and services provided by OUP. Followed by that, Ping He, Yan Liang and Lijuan Liu from the editorial office of Journal of Integrative Plant Biology, Journal of Systematics and Evolution and Journal of Plant Ecology introduced their journals, respectively. They had a heated discussion on how to improve the academic quality of publication, to promote international influence and online publishing, and to cooperate with IB-CAS .
