On Dec.6, academicians of National Academy of Sciences, Korea, Dr. Yong Hae Kim of Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and Dr.Young Choong Kim of Seoul National University paid a visit to the Institute of Botany, upon the invitation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. ZHANG Lixin, Deputy Director of IOB met with them.
Dr. ZHANG extended a warm welcome to Dr. Yong Hae Kim and Dr.Young Choong Kim, and gave a brief introduction of the Institute of Botany. Dr. SHI Lei introduced the general information of Botanical Garden to the guests. The two sides had a discussion on the topics of mutual interest.. Dr. WANG Liangshen, Vice Director of the Botanical Garden and Dr. JING Jingbo were also presented in the meeting.
After the meeting, Dr. Yong Hae Kim and Dr.Young Choong Kim visited some facilities in the campus.
