Oct.28 – The Vice-Chancellor of University of Sussex, Prof. Michael Farthing, accompanied by officer of international cooperative department of Sussex, Philip Baker, visited Institute of Botany (IOB), Chinese Academy of Sciences. Pof. Keping Ma, the director of IOB met Prof. Michael Farthing and talked about the possibility of cooperation on research and education between two institutions. Both sides determined to seek common opportunity on botany research, especially research on the plant ecology and conservation biology.
