" International Training Course on Long-term Monitoring of Ecological Environment and Management of Field Research Station " fundey by the Department of Commerce of China was finished on Sep.17. Zhao Xijia, Administrative Commitee Secretary of IOB, and Wang Nonglin, excutive director of General office, Bureau of International Co-operation,CAS, awarded Certificate for Completion to every student.
Prof. Dong Ming, who is the director of this training project and the director of Plant ecology research center of IOB, Dr. Wu Dongxiu who is the coordinator of the project, Dr. Leng Jing who is the authority of foreign affairs of IOB, and two staff from the tranining department of IOB, Hou Shuqin and Fu Yanfeng took part in the graduation ceremony.
The taining course was designed to take place 28 days, and consists of 3 parts. The first one is 17 indoor professional lecture on ecological research and 8 days field practices by visiting 3 field station. The second one is 9 professional presentations given by 9 renowned experts including CAS members. The last one is 6 lectures about Chinese culture and China national conditions and 6 days travel . Students learned a lot from both lectures and practices and said " Incredible，China" with one voice.
This is the second time that IOB undertook China-aid international training course. The course achieved very good effect because all staffs were well prepared for everyting.
