The 18th International Conference on Arabidopsis Research (18th ICAR) was jointly organized by the Institute of Botany, CAS, National Institute of Biological Sciences, the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, CAS, Peking University and China Agricultural University. The conference was held in Beijing from June 20 to June 23, 2007. The highly successful 18th ICAR, marked the first time the meeting took place in an Asian country and nearly 1500 attendees participated in the event.
