In 2008, 153 science papers (6 issue, 1240 pages) were published in the Journal of Plant Ecology (Chinese Version)，including 5 special issues with 32 special papers. All papers in 2008 had a DOI identification. The journal was distributed to 1,000 subscribers within 16 countries and regions. The journal was supported by the Excellent Academic Journal Publishing Foundation B Project of CAST. The journal is ranked second among all biological journals, with an improved IF of 1.644 from CSDPCD.
